This turn of the century Queen Anne Victorian townhouse, one of only 2 of this architectural style in town, was converted into a rooming house in the 1960’s. Most of the original features; natural woods, hardware, multi shaped slate roof, ornate exterior wood trims, railings and porches have been preserved and restored. Our primary business has been historic restoration. The buildings restoration has been performed with the utmost of respect for the buildings history and performed as a labor of love. Great emphasis has been placed on old school craftsmanship to the smallest of details. The building is located on a very safe and quiet street that is often referred to as Lawyers row due to all the lawyers’ offices. The building is between the Montgomery County Court house and County Library. The street is frequented by County employees, judges, jurors, lawyers, paralegals and other office staff during the week days. With an elementary school and day care down the street we also have young children, who are well supervised and surprising quiet and good, and either bused, driven or walked to school by their parents. Watching over the children are crossing guards at all nearby corners. We have the added protection of the County sheriffs departments policing the street who are stationed at both ends 7 days a week.
